That’s according to football finance expert Kieran Maguire.
“They could do some sort of swap deal between him and [Adrien] Rabiot,” he told the Daily Star.

“So if both have got money going out the door, it works for their finances.”

05:30 UPDATE: Barcelona still want Suarez deal
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague says Barcelona want to get rid of Denis Suarez still despite an impasse in their talks with Arsenal.
The midfielder has been linked with the Gunners but there was a sticking point in talks with Barca wanting a clause to make the deal permanent in the summer inserted into any loan agreement.
Balague said: “Denis Suarez has said to Barcelona: ‘It’s either Arsenal or I stay at Barcelona’.
“Basically Arsenal are not willing right now to pay the €20million obligation to buy that Barcelona want to put in the can deal.
“Arsenal are not that fussed about it, they just want him on loan right now. And Barcelona hearing that Denis Suarez has said he won’t be going anywhere decided on the morning of the Copa game against Sevilla to leave him out of the squad. He didn’t expect that at all, he feels that perhaps he won’t even play at the weekend.
“It’s a way for Barcelona to force him out. There’s two offered on the table, one from Betis and one from Sevilla, €20m each they will pay.
“Barcelona are pushing and pushing with the idea of reducing their wage list to keep him away from the team because to bring the players they want they need to sell players.
Arsenal have been linked with Denis Suarez all month

04:25 UPDATE: Chelsea forge Hudson-Odoi plan
Chelsea hope that offering Callum Hudson-Odoi consistent game-time between now and the end of the season can tempt him to pen a new contract with the club, say the Guardian.
The Blues have fended off interest and bids up to £35million for the teenage winger from Bayern Munich this month.
Having grown frustrated at the lack of opportunities at Stamford Bridge, Hudson-Odoi told Chelsea he wanted to leave for the Bundesliga.

02:10 UPDATE: Reds to ignore Werner?
Liverpool could look to focus on recruiting a centre-back capable of playing in the full-back positions rather than pay big money for Timo Werner in the summer.
That’s per German football expert Raphael Honigstein, who says Werner “might not be a priority” although he would be “perfect” for the Reds.
He wrote for ESPN: “Klopp’s insistence that the squad is now ‘complete’ would suggest that a fourth transition-type forward for a total outlay north of €100m (£86.8m) might not be a priority right now.
“LFC are probably more interested in bringing in a versatile centre-back with the ability to deputise in wide areas.”

“We don’t have any doubts about his quality, we miss him when he is not able to play. He’s important, he is our captain and on the field he gives us extra that few central defenders around the world can give us.
“He’s incredible – but the reality is in the last five years he’s played few, really few. So that is the situation we have to put on the table and the club will discuss it with his agent and make the best solution for both.”
